Ali Miller London is 4 Years Old!

This month we are celebrating the 4th birthday of Ali Miller London! We have lots of good things lined up, from the pre-order link to our new coloured ware collection, to our special birthday discount and our next video of Ali discussing her work.

Here we’ve put together a collection of our favourite moments over the last four years. Enjoy!

Ali Miller’s first show of bespoke ceramics was at John Jones in November 2010. Vintage plates were up-cycled and reinvented with her unique collages. They were so popular she decided to make more, and Ali Miller London was born.

As Ali Miller London started to grow, Ali was featured in “Mary Portas at House of Fraser”, a showcase of British designers. Her collages and bespoke pieces were on display as well as her main collection, giving visitors a fascinating insight into her creative process.

Ali’s “Alice” design was also on sale in the Tate Liverpool’s gift shop to coincide with their Alice in Wonderland exhibition. More recently Ali’s work has been stocked in the National Portrait Gallery, the Natural History Museum and the Museum of London, as well as stores worldwide.

One of the most exciting moments for Ali Miller London was being featured on BBC’s Sherlock! In 2012 our Home Sweet Home tea set was featured in a pivotal scene between Sherlock and Moriarty. The Home Sweet Home teapot sold out overnight and we’ve been busy with orders every since! Our Hampstead Heath and Alice tea sets were also shown in the next series in 2014, becoming part of the décor at 221B Baker Street.

Sketch Photo Shoot

2014 has been an especially busy year for us! As well as being featured on Sherlock we also organised a rather unique photo shoot of our new pieces in Sketch Restaurant, London.
